Attestation Demonstrates Company’s Adherence to Higher Industry Standards for Processing and IT Control Best Practices
LOS ANGELES, August 27, 2024 – Whip Media, the leading SaaS platform empowering data-driven decisions across the content ecosystem, today announced that it has received the latest SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II examination reports. Their reports, based on an attestation standard defined by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, reinforce the company’s commitment to business process and IT general control best practices.
The reports were issued by the independent, third-party firm Withum Smith+Brown, PC (Withum), a nationally recognized leader in SOC auditing. The audit report addressed over 50 control activities across 10 key operational and IT general control areas. Withum performed over 100 individual audit tests.
“Our 100% pass rate, year after year, validates the diligence of our technical and business operations teams as we have once again undergone an in-depth System and Organization Controls audit to provide our customers and their auditors with confidence in the design and effectiveness of our controls,” said Paul Giordano, Chief Operating Officer of Whip Media. “This outstanding audit result is representative of Whip Media’s continued commitment to exemplary customer service and disciplined administration of our evolving FASTrack platform, which manages streaming analytics and royalties across FAST, AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, social, and more.”
