Whip Media, the enterprise software platform provider for global content licensing, has announced that Paul Hastings has been promoted to SVP of Global Sales, effective immediately. In this newly created role, he will lead the company’s global sales strategy and oversee the global sales team. He is based in London.
Most recently, Hastings served as Whip Media’s SVP of Sales, EMEA. Under his leadership, Whip Media grew its EMEA business by more than 100 per cent YOY, adding some of the world’s largest content providers, broadcasters, and operators as customers including Magenta Telekom (a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary), Vodafone, and StudioCanal.

Hastings worked 10 years in production at BBC Entertainment in the UK, and most recently served as EVP global sales at Friend MTS, the global leader in channel and content security protection services.
