Shows on the Rise – September 6th

Netflix dominates the top of the pack this week with new season premieres! At No. 1 is the return of Belgian apocalyptic sci-fi drama thriller Into the Night. Close behind is the newest season of social media reality competition series The Circle at No. 2, and the sixth and final season of Lucifer at No. 3. 

FX’s adult animated series Rick and Morty enters the chart at No. 4, while crime and drama have a moment with Billions at No. 5 and the premiere of American Crime Story at No. 6. Australia’s Dive Club (No. 7) and France’s Liars (No. 9) make their way onto the chart. Following the recent 20 year anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Netflix’s five part docuseries Turning Point: 9/11 and the War on Terror comes in at No. 8.
